Butters is the newest addition to the home of Marcy Mattice, Lucid's Principal Account Executive.

Age: 4
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier Mix

Butters' Favorite Toy: Any stuffy, he’ll shred it in seconds. Also, his new brother Bentley. I’m not sure he has ever had a playmate before, but he loves it now. From WWE smackdowns to tug-o-war, every day is a playdate for Butters and Bentley

Butters' Favorite Outdoor Activity: It started out as fetch, but he has since learned he can spend as much time outdoors as he likes and taking naps has now won out. He’ll spend hours outside or on the screened-in porch napping.

Fun Fact About Butters: Butters is the newest member of Lucid’s pups, and the Mattice household. After living on the streets and then six months in the local overcrowded shelter, Butters was adopted last month (May 2025). He is blowing everyone away with his manners, calm nature, and abundance of love to offer. If he isn’t cuddled up with a head in the lap, he’s never more than a few feet away. Just a quiet and gentle soul. Butters came with his name, and he knows it too well to change it now. But if you look up the South Park character, Butters, he’s described as “naïve, gullible and terrified of being grounded.” It is quite fitting since Butters is terrified of doing something wrong, he just wants to be a good boy.
